D.C. foodie bucket list
One of the greatest things about Washington is that it really is a great city for food. First there are few of the typical chains, so you’re almost always trying something different and local.
That poses a problem if you really want to get a great taste of the city. There’s no way you could eat at every restaurant or have a beverage at every bar.
When guests visit my goal is show them some of the great food the city has to offer. And there’s a lot. Just thinking about the dining options here makes it difficult to ever consider leaving.
This list comes from my scanning of WaPo’s Going out Guide and recommendations from friends, tweets, and food critics. As much as my D.C. bucket list will keep me busy with activities, this is going to be a tougher list to get through.
