The happy list
Last week I decided to make a list of all the things that make me happy. It’s an ongoing list-making experience. This way when I get a little blue, I have something definitive to look at and possible be a little happier (a little more therapy if you will).
Fortunately I’m coming off a great weekend so starting a happy list was kind of easy.
1. Quiet nights at home, cooking and watching a movie with the husband.
2. Girls’ nights — having long conversations so much that you lose track of the time. (Thank you to all my amazing girlfriends for any kind of long bitchfest/heart-to-heart we’ve had lately.)
3. Any time with my mom — shopping, hiking, walking, sitting around the pool, long phone conversations about the TV shows we watch or books we read.
4. Reading a really great book, one that you can’t put down.
