Smile, be happy
This weekend has been so great I don’t even know where to start and I have so much to post … but I’ll just keep it short since I have little time.
I spent most of the day today baking cupcakes and getting ready to host book club. It was great. More on the book later (I’m only 85 percent finished with it).
I made lemon cupcakes with raspberry buttercream.
I also made these delicious baked spinach dip cups that everyone was asking for the recipe for. So here it is! Good and easy to make.
I prepared birthday cake martinis that, of course, I found via Pinterest.
Birthday Cake Martini 1.5 ounces vanilla vodka 1.5 ounces cranberry juice 1/2 ounce champagne Rim glass with Sprinkles. Combine vodka and cranberry juice in an ice shaker, half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into glass. Top with Champagne. Drop in cherry.
It ended up being quite an amazing day despite the rain. Now I can’t wait to continue the birthday stretch tomorrow on my actual birthday!
